- How do I care for my jewelry?

Saratoga Jewels only uses high-quality recycled metals that are not coated or plated with other materials therefore they will naturally darken with time. Many of my pieces are intentionally darkened to enhance the details of the piece. Please refer to the Jewelry Care Guide for tips on keeping your pieces looking like new.
- Where is the jewelry made?

All jewelry is handmade by Julie in her studio located just outside of Saratoga Springs, NY.
- Can I visit Saratoga Jewels' studio to buy jewelry in person?

The Saratoga Jewels studio is closed to the public but if you are in the Saratoga Springs, NY area you can stop into N. Fox Jewelers. They are located at 404 Broadway and carry a wide selection of Saratoga Jewels. You might even meet Julie as she works there several days a week.
- What kind of metal does Saratoga Jewels use?

Saratoga Jewels works with sterling silver, gold, gold-filled, brass, bronze, and copper. All metals used are nickel free.
- What does recycled sterling silver mean?

It is sterling silver that is made from recycled metal rather than newly mined ore making it a more eco-friendly choice.
- Does your jewelry contain nickel?

Most people who have a metal allergy are allergic to nickel. All metals used by Saratoga Jewels are nickel free.
- Do you do custom work?

- I don't see my size. Can I order a custom size?

Absolutely! Many items are offered in multiple sizes but if you don't see your size listed then please contact me to place a custom order.
- I lost an earring. Can I get a replacement?

Yes, you can order a replacement earring. If the earrings are still being offered the cost will just be 1/2 the list price of a pair plus shipping. If the item is not available anymore then a quote will be provided for one earring. Depending on the design you may need to send the earring you have back so that you will get the best match. Please contact me so we can discuss the best option for you.
- How much does shipping cost?

Saratoga Jewels offers shipping via US Postal Service. Shipping rates vary depending on the shipping method you select at checkout. You will be able to see the shipping cost before you finalize your purchase. Please note that for international orders you are responsible for any customs fees or duties that may be applied to your package.
- How long will it take to receive my order?

If an item indicates in stock on the product page then it will ship the next business day. Most items are made to order as I make each piece by hand, so please allow up to 2 weeks for fabrication. The time in transit once your order ships will depend on the shipping method you choose during checkout. If you need your order sooner please contact me before ordering to see if it is possible. I will do my best to meet your needs.
- How can I return or exchange my jewelry?

To begin processing your return or exchange please see our Return and Exchange Policy.
- Can I get a different size chain?

If you have received your order and find that the chain is not the length you prefer you can exchange the chain for a different size using the Return Authorization Form.
If you need a custom-size chain or would like a chain extender please contact me to place a custom order.
- My order arrived damaged or I received the wrong item. What do I do?

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
- Do you offer repairs?

Saratoga Jewels' strives to produce quality work but understands that sometimes a repair may be required. If an item is found to have a defect I am happy to repair it free of charge. If an item is damaged due to normal wear and tear please contact me for a quote for repair work.
I do not repair or resize jewelry that I did not make.
